WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING COUNTY- The Williamsport Grand Slam Parade and Festival will be tonight from 6pm to 10pm . It will feature the parade of champions, street festival on Fourth, pre and post parade music, and a fireworks finale. The parade begins along the 800 block of West Fourth Street and moves up Fourth Street past City Hall, ending at Market Street . Over 100 units showing their stuff along the parade route, with bleachers along the way and plenty of sidewalk space to cheer. Participants include all 16 Little League teams, Governor Ed Rendell (tentatively scheduled), area marching bands, antique cars, fire trucks, military equipment and much more. After the parade the streets along the parade route on Fourth Street between Hepburn and Market Streets will remain closed for a street festival and live musical performances.
