WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING COUNTY - Williamsport police are investigating a shooting that seriously injured a woman.

The victim was found unconscious with a gunshot wound to the neck just before 11 o'clock Monday night.

She was removed from the hallway in front of apartment 2E at 432 Glenwood Avenue and taken to Williamsport Hospital.

She was then flown to a trauma unit.

Police did not immediately release the woman's name or condition.

They are still looking for the shooter.
