WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING COUNTY- The weather was picture perfect for a parade. And Friday night, the city of Williamsport welcomed Santa.

A large crowd turned out for the event. Our WBRE Williamsport Bureau Chief Jeremy Deebel was part of the line up.

There was also plenty of music, big balloons and marching units. Many of the downtown businesses had special holiday shopping hours this evening.

The annual Santa parade officially begins the holiday season in Williamsport.
