Montoursville, Lycoming County-

World War II buffs are invited to step back in history in Lycoming County. The Wings of Freedom Tour is making a stop at the Williamsport Regional Airport in Montoursville.

Vintage World War II planes are on display.

Visitors are welcome to take a trip back in time as they explore the aircraft. And if you would like to spread your wings, you can even go up in one of the planes.

Pilot Jim Harley said, "You know it's an honor to fly these airplanes. They're the last of their kind basically. And we're honoring the veterans who basically saved the world. It's a lot bigger than any of us. It was the biggest conflict in human history. And to keep that memory alive is very special to all of us."

The Wings of Freedom Tour continues Wednesday at 9am. It runs through Thursday at 5pm.
