PRINGLE, LUZERNE COUNTY- The woman who stole a donation canister meant for raising funds towards a sick child has now been charged.
Surveillance video taken inside Shelley's American Pie Pizza in Pringle allegedly shows 65-year-old Susan Brandt of Kingston taking the can from the counter. She left the store with the can, but then returned to pick up and pay for her pizza.
Brandt has now been charged with theft. The money she took was intended to help 10-year-old Zoe Lambert of Plymouth. Lambert suffers from a rare illness that has required more than 30 surgeries. | | |
