MADISON TOWNSHIP, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- A woman from Scranton has died from injuries she sustained in a crash earlier this week.

21-year old Ashley Ives died Thursday. Pennsylvania State Police say she was involved in a crash on Aberdeen Road in Madison Township on Wednesday afternoon. Ives suffered serious injuries when her SUV struck a telephone pole and overturned, throwing her from the wreckage.

An investigation into what caused this crash continues.
