LOYALSOCK TWP., LYCOMING COUNTY -- A Linden woman is dead after a crash in Lycoming County Sunday afternoon.

Just after 3:00 P. M. police say 47-year-old Darlene Day was traveling northbound along Bloomingrove Road in Loyalsock Township when she lost control and crossed into the southbound lane, colliding with an SUV.

Day was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police say Day was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
