DEER LAKE, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY- We now know the name of the woman who was hit and killed Saturday night on Route 61 in Deer Lake Borough.

State police say Kathleen Greenawalt of Orwigsburg died when she walked into the path of an oncoming car. The 50-year-old died at the scene.

The driver of the car, Robert Holmes, was hurt and taken to the hospital. There's no word if charges will be filed.
