WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY -- A woman was rushed to the hospital Sunday evening after she was struck by a hit and run truck along North Washington Street near Hollenback Golf Course.

The woman was reportedly retrieving a hub cap that fell off her car into the road. That's when she was hit by the truck, which fled the scene.

There's no word on the woman's name or condition. Police are trying to track down the hit and run driver in Wilkes-Barre.
