Woman in Court After Allegedly Trying to Run Over Husband - Monday, April 20, 2009 at 5:50PM EST

Montoursville, Lycoming County-
A Williamsport woman was in court Monday accused of trying to run down her husband with her car.

According to police, 54-year-old Carol Ann Sholder met with her husband, Charles, at Short Park in Loyalsock Township on April 11th to discuss ending their marriage.

Police say after a brief argument, Mrs. Sholder got in her car and accelerated toward her husband, who had to jump out of the way to avoid being hit.

She was charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.

Sholder waived her preliminary hearing Monday. A judge ruled she will be eligible for supervised bail.
