WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- A woman in a motorized wheelchair was struck by a Wilkes-Barre city pickup truck Friday.

It happened at the intersection of Main and Hazle streets just after 2:00 pm.

The pickup was being driven by a city employee.

The woman was taken to the hospital.

There's no word on her condition.
