A Schuylkill county woman kidnapped by her son from a nursing home has passed away.
Ruth netchel died on Thursday.
An autopsy performed yesterday revealed the cause of death was shock brought on by her abduction and other health problems.
The manner of death is pending. Her son, Robert Netchel, is being held on charges of kidnapping.
Police say he took her from the nursing home while she was still hooked up to medical monitors.
The District Attorney is looking into whether additional charges may be filed. | | |
