SHENANDOAH, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY – A construction worker is dead after he fell from the bucket of a lift truck while demolishing a church.

The Schuylkill County Coroner says 52-year-old John Martz from Oneida was pronounced dead at St. George Roman Catholic Church in Shenandoah.

The church has been closed since spring of 2006. The Diocese of Allentown is demolishing the church.
