BLAKESLEE, MONROE COUNTY --It's no denying the rivalry runs deep in northeastern Pennsylvania. You'll find plenty of Phillies and Yankees fans here. Why? Location. And tonight, we take you to the town that's in the center of it all. Jeff Chirico joins us now with more.

Looking at this map --you can see it clearly. Blakeslee, Monroe County is exactly the same driving distance from both Citizens Bank Park and Yankees Stadium. And as we found that distinction is deserved.

Blakeslee corners -where two busy routes cross... “Definitely the Yankees." --along with team loyalties. “Been Phillies fan all my life."

This small Pocono town sits the same distance from each team's home stadium. Mike Dovidio says “I think it's great. It's amazing that you'd even measure that distance."

According to the navigation on my phone, Citizens Bank Park is 105 miles that way. Yankees Stadium 105 miles that way"

At the Chat and Chew Café, the owner's a Phillies fan. And it seems customers are too. Simon Saba says “I ordered turkey club wrap in honor of New York Yankee turkey team." Even the wait staff claims allegiance to the team to the south. Lori Hartman says “I'd like to see Phillies win because it will make my boss happy."

So while Philly cheesesteaks sizzle here, next door Papa Santos serves up... New York Style pizza." And guess who the staff is rooting for. The Bronx bombers. Mary Capece says “there's a lot of New Yorkers in the area. And you get New York and Philly fans they come around to vacation."

So does this random geographic distinction mean anything? Wes Reid of Blakeslee "Maybe we'll get a little notoriety." “I think it puts Blakeslee on the map"

But with bragging rights on the line---perhaps an out-of-towner put it best. Eric Heiden of Connecticut says “I guess there must be a good amount of bar fights."
