WRIGHT TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY- The Wright Township Volunteer Fire Department getting high marks for firefighting.

The department received this certification through a series of tests on efficiency and safety.
The firefighters were presented with individuals certificates.
State Fire Commissioner, Ed Mann was there to honor the department, which is at the 75 percent level. They've been evaluated by a group of their peers on their abilitiy to perform against the national standard. "
Several federal and state leaders attended the event.
