(SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY) –

Four thousand fans of the sitcom “The Office" are wrapping up a weekend of mixing and mingling with the gang of Dunder Mifflin in the Electric City.

It's a popular comedy based on real life in an office set in Scranton. Natural sound, “But behind the fun and attractive world depicted by the likeable cast there is a shadow world." One of many writers I'm Greg Daniels and I’m proud of writing the booze cruise."

And a few writers/actors “I’m Mindy Kaling and I'm proud of the first episode ‘hot girl.’ The inaugural “The Office Convention came to a close with fans finally meeting the brains behind the broadcast. Natural sound, “Being very athletic, we writers often toss around the old pig skin.” They also poke fun at each other in the process.

Mindy Kaling is a writer and an actress, “I wrote a song, ‘Paul is on the computer everybody is on the computer everybody blow your brains out."" That's basically how office ideas generate actual episodes. Natural sound, We encourage a lot of improvisation."

Dwight's cousin Mose played by Writer Mike Schur is part of the process.. Writer Mike Schur added, "It's getting rid of terrible ideas. That's what’s most important." Writer Justin Spitzer added, "Sometimes we break up into groups with ten ideas and go back and pitch them."

They all agree, they've seen lots of potential plots this weekend. Creator Greg Daniels, "We rented minivans driving around looking for ideas." More Scranton stuff you could see in an upcoming show. "We took a coal mining tour." "Like tons of funeral homes in Scranton"" Other advice came from audience members including where Dwight might hang out.

Greg Daniels added, "Yeah good suggestions, the Volunteer Fire Station in Moosic, that a cool place to be." But would they consider coming to Scranton to film an episode.. Daniels told WBRE News, "It's so expensive, but I would love to come to the St. Paddy's day parade." Lots of cliffhangers out there, we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
