WYALUSING, BRADFORD COUNTY- Mayor Barbara (Bobbi) Lord has passed away.

Lord was elected mayor in 2005 without opposition. She had been battling cancer and was considered cancer free for about two months; until it came back.

Before she was the mayor Lord served as President of the Greater Wyalusing Chamber of Commerce, Secretary of the Rainbow Club and Treasurer of the Wyalusing Museum.

A memorial service for lord will be held at Wyalusing Presbyterian Church on Thursday morning.
