Recipe Jeff Davis Pie I (Pie)

Required Ingredients:

• 1 3/4 cups white sugar
• 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
• 1 pinch ground nutmeg
• 1/2 cup butter
• 4 eggs
• 1 cup milk
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
• 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie

Preparing/Cooking:

• Mix together the sugar, flour and spices.
• Stir in butter.
• Beat in eggs and add milk and vanilla.
• Mix well.
• Pour into unbaked pie shell.
• Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 400 degrees F (205 degrees C), then reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake 30 minutes more or until pie sets.
