Recipe Walnut Pie I (Pie)

Required Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups dark corn syrup
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1 (9 inch) pie shell
Preparing/Cooking:
- Scatter nuts over bottom of unbaked pie shell.
- In a large bowl, stir together sugar, flour, and salt.
- Stir in milk until smooth.
- Add eggs, corn syrup, butter or margarine and vanilla.
- Beat until thoroughly blended.
- Pour filling carefully over nuts; make sure the nuts are still spread out evenly over the crust bottom.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour.
- Cool.
